yoga therapy

Therapeutic yoga is a holistic modality that artfully weaves wisdom from Eastern and Western health philosophies. Intentional movement, breath work, and bodywork are blended to help restore balance to the nervous system. Each session looks different, as some systems require stimulation, while others need to be downregulated. A therapist assists the client in honing skills to witness and interact with their experiences through embodied awareness, and exploring tools to create a more integrated relationship between the form and functions of the body and mind.
